Set up an Affiliate ID

Allow affiliates to promote your products and drive traffic to your store. It enables you to track performance, ensuring you only pay for successful sales, making it a cost-effective marketing strategy. Additionally, it helps build brand exposure and fosters partnerships with influencers, enhancing your overall reach and credibility.

This step-by-step guide will walk you through setting up your affiliate ID. Affiliates can promote your products and earn commissions, making it a great way to boost sales and expand your reach.

Step 1: Sign Up for Amazon Associates

Joining the Amazon Associates program is the very first step. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Amazon Associates Sign-Up page: Visit the Amazon Associates homepage here: https://affiliate-program.amazon.com.

  2. Click on Sign Up: You’ll find the Sign Up button on the main page.

  1. Log In to Your Amazon Account.

  2. Fill Out the Registration Form:

  • Account Information: Enter your name, address, phone number, and other contact details.

  • Website or Mobile App Information: Provide the URL of the website, blog, or social media account where you’ll be promoting Amazon products.

  • Preferred Store ID: This is a name you’ll use for your Amazon Associate account.

  • How You Drive Traffic: Amazon will ask how you plan to drive traffic to your affiliate links, whether through blogs, social media, email newsletters, etc. Be honest and specific.

  • Payment and Tax Information: Set up your preferred payment method (PayPal, gift card, or direct deposit), and provide tax information if required.

  1. Agree to the Terms and Conditions: After reviewing the content, click I Agree to continue.

  2. Submit Your Application.

Step 2: Locate Your Affiliate ID

Once your application is approved, you’ll be able to access your Amazon Associates dashboard. Here’s how to find your unique Affiliate ID:

  1. Log in to your Amazon Associates account.

  2. Go to the top right corner of the screen. There, you’ll find your affiliate ID

Step 3: Add your Affiliate ID with Ritafy

This is the easiest step to complete:

  1. Log in to your Shopify account.

  2. Under the App section, open Ritafy Amazon Importer.

  1. Scroll down to find the Add Amazon Affiliate ID section.

  1. Paste the Tracking ID (from Step 2) into the box.

  2. Click Add Your Affiliate ID.

And there you go - you're all set! Now that your Amazon Affiliate ID is connected to Ritafy, you’re ready to start earning. Happy selling!
