Markup pricing is an easy and effective way to price your products. It simply means adding a percentage to the cost of your product to figure out its selling price.
With Ritafy, you have two simple ways to set up your product prices. Let’s find out!
With this option, to calculate markup, use the formula: Markup Price = Original Price + (Original Price × Markup Percentage).
For example, the original price is $40 and you set the Multiplier Price at 50% so the product price in Shopify will be $40 + $40 x 50% = $60.
With this option, you will add a fix amount of money to the original price. Therefore, the formular now is: Markup Price = Original Price + Fixed Adding Price.
For example, the original price is $40 and you set the Fixed Adding Price at $10. Then, the product price in Shopify will be $40 + $10 = $50.
Open Ritafy and go to Settings.
Select your preferred markup method.
Enter a percentage or a fixed adding price, depending on the option you have chosen in step 2.
Click on Save to continue or Discard to cancel the setting.
If you click on Save, select the product you wish to apply the markup pricing, either All products or Specific products.
If you choose Specific products, you will need to choose the individual products you want to apply the markup to.
Click Apply to finish the process.
Both the markup pricing methods are super easy to use! By understanding and applying markup pricing, you can take control of your product pricing strategy, ensure profitability, and grow your business with confidence.
